Len M. Allen
Founder and President, Murray, UT
Len M. Allen was born and raised in Pierre, SD. He attended college at South Dakota State University where he became a follower of Christ in 1969. After two years of initial discipleship through the ministry of the Navigators Len transferred to the University of Hawaii and became the student President of the Campus Crusade for Christ ministry. Len graduated from The University of Sioux Falls where he received a degree with double majors in Commercial Art and Religion.
After his degree, Len returned to Hawaii where lived for almost 20 years. While remaining active as a teacher and disciple maker in his local church, he spent over 30 years in the corporate worlds of retail, television, radio, and newspaper. The last 7 years of his “first career” were spent running in-house advertising agencies for large companies. In the mid-nineties he was Advertising Director for a company with 121 convenience store locations in Tennessee and Georgia. Then in 1996 he became the Advertising and Marketing Director for a company in New Mexico with 320 stores in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Len’s “second career” has been in ministry. He served as pastor to churches in Dallas and El Paso, TX and on the Adult Ministries staff in Chattanooga, TN. Len is now an author, speaker, and Bible teacher.
Len has lived and worked in California, Hawaii, New Mexico, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
He is the author of two books: “Unemployed: Life in the Wilderness – A Practical Guide to Living with Unemployment” and “Why The Wise Men Came To Christmas, Following Yonder Star” but currently spends his time speaking, teaching, and recording tutorial videos related to Bible study methods and best practices. He has been leading one-on-one discipleship meetings, small groups, Sunday School classes, and speaking at churches, camps, seminars, and conferences for over 50 years and continues his ministry of teaching online.
