Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, David was saved by God’s grace at the age of 11. He received his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree and his Masters of Youth Ministry Education at Tennessee Temple University and Seminary in Chattanooga.
David was called by God into vocational ministry and has served in various roles at Shades Mountain Independent Church in Birmingham, AL, Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and currently at Silverdale Baptist Church, also in Chattanooga.
He has served Silverdale Baptist Church as Pastor of Adult and Men’s Ministries since 2007. He has been married to Kim since 1976 and they have 2 children and 6 grandchildren.
